It is 10/27/14. I'm 31 years old, 5'9" tall, 188lb, tired, and out of shape. With great hesitation (and some dread) I went to my friend to 'bring a friend to crossfit' day at Rare X Crossfit (http://rarecrossfit.com/). The workout was killer. I completed 15 rounds of 5 assisted pull-ups, 10 assisted pushups, and 15 squats. For those playing the home game that is 225 squats. For a week I could hardly walk, sit, or do stairs. That workout made me realize how out of shape I really am.
Most people think I am relatively fit because I run. Not true. I lack upper body strength and I never cross train. So, with even greater hesitation, I went to an introduction appointment with crossfit today... and signed up for 4 months of torture that they call 'fun'.
I'm making this page to tell... myself... maybe someone else... maybe no one... my journey with this whole thing. First workout is scheduled for tomorrow night. Be prepared for post workout whining.
